Broomstick Manager
A management sim for a sport that doesn't exist.
Seven riders a side. A ball through the rings for ten points. Hammers that knock a rider out of the play. And a Wisp worth thirty to whichever Hunter catches it, which usually ends the chase and the argument. Nobody licensed this sport, so nobody told us how the management game around it has to work: the office, the tactics board, the transfer window, the academy, the money, and a board that will eventually sack you.

What makes it different
Two ways in
Found a club: a dirt pitch, a wooden stand, and one academy prodigy in the sixth tier. Sell them and build the ground, or build the club around them. Or take a job at any of the 83 clubs — your past experience sets your reputation and the board's patience, so a top-flight job with no history behind you is legitimately hard mode.
A week with a decision
Spend the week preparing for the opponent your scouts have read, or developing the squad. Not both. Contract demands, transfer bids and board ultimatums arrive as letters with a deadline and two or three answers — ignoring one is an answer too, and it costs something.
Squads that push back
Morale moves with minutes, wages, results and ambition. A starter benched twice complains. A prospect never given a game stalls. A player who has outgrown the tier asks, by letter, to leave.
Consequences that stick
Boards set objectives, issue ultimatums and sack managers who miss them — AI boards do the same to each other, which is what keeps the job market moving. Founders answer to a board too, and to a bank: run up debt and the transfer embargo arrives before the board's verdict does.
A season with a shape
Thirteen league rounds, a midweek knockout cup, derbies between clubs sharing a town, promotion playoffs below and a title playoff at the top. A giant-killing pays gate money and reputation, which is what makes the bench a decision.
The touchline is yours
Change intensity, shape and orders mid-match, make substitutions, and watch the hunt for the Wisp tighten — or sim straight to the whistle and read the report. Either way it's the same deterministic match underneath.
Play together, online
Two to sixteen managers share one career: found rival clubs in the same division, or put a friend in the top flight and yourself on a dirt pitch. Everyone answers their own letters and gets sacked by their own board. Human-versus-human fixtures are badged as such.
Moddable, and provably fair
JSON content packs rename every role, ball, division and facility, and reshape the pyramid itself. Underneath, every match is deterministic and seeded — same seed, same decisions, same result — checked against hundreds of seeded tests on every build.
Status
Pre-alpha, version 0.1.0. The career loop, the pyramid and the live tactics board are playable and run against hundreds of seeded checks on every build. Online play for up to sixteen managers is built and passing its own test harness, but hasn't yet been run between two people on separate machines. No public build, no store page, and no release date yet.
